Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the oldest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a founder of Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of Oyakhilome families. She handed down her divine grace onto her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry encompasses all members of the family. Reverend Ken, his brother, is the revered minister of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM), where many gospel musicians are among the top-selling artists worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has decided to follow her father's model of sharing the Word of God with the world Also called CSO, she is a gifted, award-winning gospel singer and part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education at Edo College. After a grant was made to study architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University) and he received the BSc degree in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he found his calling to serve the Lord and go into ministry.
